Prescriptions
Patients who need long term maintenance therapy may receive their prescriptions without the need to attend the surgery between routine visits. Details will be explained to each person as necessary. Use of such a repeat prescription should not deter a patient from attending whenever necessary.
Patients can order their repeat prescriptions by coming to the surgery in person or by post, enclosing a stamped addressed envelope. A number of local chemists also operate a prescription collection service - please ask at reception for details.
You may also wish to order your repeat prescription through our on-line ordering service using the NHS Wales App. Please see our On-Line services page for more information.
Please allow 48 working hours for prescription requests.
We regret that we cannot accept requests for prescriptions over the telephone as this can give rise to errors.

You can make your request to us in person by completing the request slip and handing it to a member of the team or posting it through the appointment request drop off box in the foyers of both Practices |
By Post |
Please send a request in clear handwriting to the Practice either requesting a Pharmacy collection or enclosing a stamped addressed envelope. Send to North Road Medical Practice ,182 North Road, Gabalfa, Cardiff, CF14 3XQ. |
